Lisa Warren Treannie Named Managing Partner
Morse, Barnes-Brown & Pendleton is pleased to announce the election of Lisa Warren Treannie
to the position of managing partner.
A shareholder in the firm’s Intellectual Property
practice group, Treannie launched the firm’s patent practice in 2007. In the ensuing period, the patent practice has become a critical part of the firm’s practice portfolio, which also includes general corporate, private equity, M&A, employment, immigration and taxation practices. The beginning of her term as managing partner, in which she succeeds Donald W. Parker
, coincides with the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the 40-lawyer firm.
“Under Don’s leadership, our firm has expanded beyond its roots serving startup companies in the technology industries to offer an array of services to companies of all sizes,” Treannie said. “By cultivating a culture that emphasizes innovation, integrity and excellence, Don has left our firm well-positioned for future growth. One of my top priorities will be to continue adding strength and expertise to our practice areas in the Boston market and elsewhere as our firm embarks on the next 20 years.”
