Beacon Interactive Systems grows to meet the needs of the US Navy in Norfolk, Virginia.

Norfolk, VA: Beacon interactive Systems, a Woman-Owned Small Business, is very pleased to announce the hiring of three senior Navy Veterans; Don Styer, Jeff Niedenthal and James Haley along with the opening of Beacon’s Norfolk Virginia office.

Don Styer, Vice President of Norfolk Operations, will lead the Norfolk operations to collaboratively design, implement, deliver, and grow Beacon’s Energy, Maintenance, and Program Management innovative technology solutions. While serving in the US Navy, Don held many positions including Assistant Director of Logistics Training, Stock Control and Customer Service Officer on the USS Enterprise and Defense Contracting Officer. Most recently, Don led the Innovation Practice and Product Development as the Vice President of Solution Development for WBB.
Jeff Niedenthal, Senior Analyst, will be providing Navy expertise while also exploring commercial opportunities. He joins Beacon after 30 years of service to the US Navy and DOD private sector contract leadership with Northrop Grumman and Lockheed Martin. He developed several winning logistics sections for the US Navy and other major DOD proposals including Anti-terrorism Force Protection, Nationwide Automatic Identification System, DD(X) guided missile destroyer and Consolidated Afloat Networks and Enterprise System. Within the US Navy, he held many positions including: Deputy Director USMC Command and Staff College, Chief Staff Officer, Amphibious Squadron Eight and Commanding Officer USS Pensacola LSD-38.
James Haley, Director, Energy & Maintenance Analytics, will lead our energy information systems requirements and auditing practice. Jim brings with him over 20 years of Navy logistics and auditing experience. He is a Professional Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) and was most recently the project lead for a large Financial Audit and Readiness team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a Navy senior enlisted logician, Jim served in various sea and shore assignments directly associated with warehousing, inventory control, distribution, configuration management and financial management.
For over 20 years, Beacon Interactive Systems has provided both industry and Department of Defense customers with software solutions that increase efficiency while improving visibility into an organization's performance, capabilities and knowledge.
