Tata & Howard is pleased to announce that Steve Rupar has been promoted to Vice President.
Steve has over 25 years of experience in water utility engineering with targeted expertise in capital improvement program management, water resource planning, distribution system optimization, and non-revenue water analysis. Steve manages Tata & Howard's Meriden, Connecticut office. This past year, Steve has managed the Stony Brook Water Treatment Plant Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) project in Norwich, Connecticut. He has also managed several projects for New Britain, Connecticut including the design and construction of a 2.0 mg capacity replacement tank and improvements to the associated piping network. Steve is an expert in asset management evaluations and pipe condition assessment services. He also serves as chair of the firm’s Hydraulics Group and Safety Committee.
Steve serves as Trustee for the Connecticut Section of the American Water Works Association (AWWA). He is a member of the AWWA Water Loss Control Committee and is currently serving on the task force writing the fourth edition of AWWA M36 Water Audits and Loss Control Programs
