Boston, MA - Hamilton Brook Smith Reynolds is pleased to announce that it has been recognized for the second consecutive year as a "Patent Law Tier-1" law firm in the category of 2015 "Best Law Firms" for patent law in Boston.

U.S. News & World Report Best Lawyers Best Law Firms, Patent Law - Tier 1 Boston 2015The U.S. News - Best Lawyers® recognition for "Best Law Firms" acknowledges firms for professional excellence with consistently remarkable ratings from their clients and peers.  A firm that has attained a tiered ranking indicates a unique combination of quality law practice and range of legal expertise.

This year’s rankings attracted the highest number of participating firms and the highest number of client ballots in the history of the rankings.  In order for a law firm to be eligible for a ranking, the firm must have a lawyer listed in The Best Lawyers in America, a listing which recognizes the top four percent of practicing attorneys in the U.S.  Hamilton Brook Smith Reynolds is proud to have two attorneys achieve this ranking: David Brook and James Smith.

John DuPré, President and Principal at Hamilton Brook Smith Reynolds, commented, "We are delighted to be recognized again for our excellent work by U.S. News - Best Lawyers®, which in turn reflects the views of our clients and fellow patent and intellectual property lawyers.  We are humbled to receive this recognition and we appreciate those who have entrusted their matters to us."
