On March 1, 2013, automatic across-the-board cuts in federal spending, known as “sequestration,” instituted caps on the amount of federal funds that would be distributed to state agencies, departments, contractors, and subcontractors.
On behalf of the Massachusetts Executive Office for Administration and Finance, MassDevelopment, and the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center, the University of Massachusetts Donahue Institute is administering this survey to analyze the economic impacts of sequestration on the defense and non-defense sectors of the Massachusetts economy. Your responses will be used confidentially to clarify how federal spending cuts specifically impact the Massachusetts economy and its businesses.
Completing this electronic survey will take no more than 15 minutes. No one outside the UMass research team working on this study will ever see these survey data. To ensure total confidentiality and anonymity, survey results will be presented only as aggregate findings.
Please complete this electronic survey as soon as possible. We will accept surveys until September 30, 2013. For more information, please contact Andrew Hall at email@example.com or (413) 577-3021.
