SBANE Rhode Island Chapter Announces New Leadership

Changes were announced at the SBANE Annual Meeting on October 17th

WALTHAM, Ma., October 27, 2011- SBANE’s Rhode Island Chapter, which meets once a month at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Warwick, Rhode Island, announced changes to their leadership after SBANE’s October 17th Annual Meeting. John Cronin, Regional Director-Statewide of the Rhode Island Small Business Development Center Johnson & Wales is the new Chair of the Rhode Island Chapter. He took over the position from Philip M. Papoojian, Metachem Resins Corporation (MERCO), who is now SBANE’s Chairman of the Board of Directors. Grafton (Cap) Willey, Managing Partner at CBIZ Tofias, was named Director of Legislative Advocacy and Public Relations and Ralph Coppola of Meridien Benefits, Inc, was named Chair of the Rhode Island Government Affairs Committee. The Rhode Island November Breakfast Series will be held on Wednesday, November 9th at the Crowne Plaza in Warwick, RI and will feature Judith Bowman from Protocol Consultants International as the keynote speaker. She will speak about “The Power of Protocol … The Art of Transitioning from being ‘Just Fine’ to Fabulous!” Bean Counters, out of Sterling, CT., who provides bookkeeping and payroll services to small businesses, will be the featured sponsor.
