Embracing Disruptive Technologies In Achieving A Competitive Business Advantage

Differentiating yourself and maintaining your competitive edge is critical for every small and mid-sized manufacturing company.  One way manufacturers can maintain their position in the highly competitive marketplace is by staying ahead of the technology curve and embracing disruptive technologies whenever possible including social, mobile, analytics, cloud, and the “internet of things.”  Attend this presentation by Dave Lechleitner, Senior Product Marketing Manager for Exact Online and Chair of the Software Technology Council for The Fabricators and Manufacturers Association, and learn how SMAC has driven a paradigm shift with how companies interact with their customers and streamline business processes to reduce costs and increase profits.

Dave LechleitnerIn addition, Mark Melfi, Owner of Southfield Packaging, will join Dave to share the story about how his company has embraced disruptive technologies and the cloud to stay close to customers and gain efficiencies to achieve and maintain a leadership position in the highly competitive packaging and fulfillment industry for over 40 years.

Dave Lechleitner is currently the product marketing principal for Exact’s U.S. Cloud Solutions.  He also serves as the chair of the Software Technology Council for the Fabricators & Manufacturers Association. With more than 20 years’ experience working directly with small- and mid-sized manufacturers, Dave is considered a thought leader in the industry.  Dave is a recognized senior enterprise resource planning (ERP) professional with extensive pre-and post-sale consulting, presales and management experience, in addition to vast experience in cost accounting and deployment of ERP solutions at all levels of a manufacturing enterprise. Dave is certified in lean manufacturing and frequently speaks about the topic nationally to help small manufacturers become lean.
