The largest community college in New England, Community College of Rhode Island is also the state's only public comprehensive associate degree-granting institution. Setting high academic standards necessary to contribute to Rhode Island's economic development, CCRI holds an important role in the region's workforce. Please join us on March 5th as SBANE proudly presents featured speaker Ray Di Pasquale, President of Community College of Rhode Island. Mr. Di Pasquale will be speaking on the college's many partnerships with businesses, his background on several Governor's Workforce boards, who CCRI is, where its been and where it's going.
Ray Di Pasquale began serving his term as president in July of 2006. Since Mr. Di Pasquale arrived at CCRI, the college has enjoyed near-record enrollments and had its largest graduating class ever in May 2012. Under his direction, the college has added numerous programs and courses, instituted energy cost-saving projects and expanded career pathway programs. Mr. Di Pasquale holds a master's degree from Northeastern University and a bachelor's degree from Arkansas Tech University.
